Events in the Barn



At Ashburnham Place I’ve had the privilege of photographing gatherings in the barn and kitchen garden — moments where the land, the kitchen and the table meet. From the growers lifting produce from the soil, to the chefs preparing it with quiet skill, to the guests seated together in the simple pleasure of a shared meal. These are the details I’m drawn to: the harvest in hand, the steam in the air, the hum of conversation. Photographs become a way of holding on — a record of the season, the work, and the fellowship — long after the tables have been cleared
